They organise dog shows where dogs are judged by qualified persons. Biewers are compared to the Breed Standard of KUSA. A good show dog can earn the title of Champion. The Biewer Terrier Club of South Africa keeps records of litters registered, and statistics on the number of puppies registered, and keeps records of DNA data base All Biewer pups are DNA tested and their pedigrees verified by comparing their DNA profiles to those of their parents that are already on the database. This ensures that registered Biewers are only from Biewer to Biewer matings, thus maintaining the integrity of the local Biewer studbook. The Biewer Terrier Club of South Africa has jurisdiction over the Members and has a code of ethics that applies to the Members. I AM MEMBER OF THE BIEWER TERRIER CLUB SOUTH AFRICA
